“Lean management is an effective way to raise management standards and improve quality and efficiency. It is an important measure for advancing management innovation and drawing results, methods and gains from management…

At Chengyi Fabrics, which the RCG team is coaching, we use a coaching-style approach so that employees build their thinking and hands-on skills through activities, and every employee takes part in learning and thinking. The first thing a lean production project must address is mindset: people must first be able to spot problems, so we cultivate employees’ eye for problems, and only then move on to analyzing and solving them. Coaching is an excellent way to change how employees think, and it makes learning enjoyable.

Mr. Capers Lee guided the client on shop-floor management techniques, turning a dirty, messy site into a clean and orderly factory. At the start, all of the client’s samples were scattered across tables, chairs and cabinets, and were often lost or impossible to find. Our consultant used the existing cabinets to sort and file every client’s samples, with numbering, records and fixed locations, which greatly reduced search time and completely solved the problem of lost samples.

The day we were waiting for has finally come: even the larger teams are now earning bonuses, another breakthrough from zero. The teams keep chasing each other and the company’s efficiency keeps rising. The team members joke that next time the boss will have to carry the cash in by the box. The harder you work, the happier you are. Well done, everyone. 💪💪💪

Careful on-site inspection and guidance
RCG’s lean client PC in Zhongshan passed the HKPC environmental project acceptance today. Our on-site consultant Peter and the client’s team were well prepared and passed smoothly, securing nearly one million in Hong Kong subsidy funding. Congratulations to the team on the result.
The harder you work, the happier you are. Keep going, and keep working toward the next million.
